JERRY LABUY
Founder and Creative Director
Jerry LaBuy has worked in radio, television, and film production since 1998.
Prior to his career in production he was on staff with the University of Southern California’s School of the Cinematic Arts. There he worked for Producer Larry Turman (The Graduate, The Thing, American History X) in the Peter Stark Producing Program.
While at USC, Mr. LaBuy founded his own film production company, The Caledonia Night Sky Co., which focuses primarily on narrative filmmaking. His most recent projects include: Collinsville, Crossing the Lake, and I’m a Puppy. His films have screened on TV and at film festivals worldwide, some favorite screenings venues include the Gene Siskel Film Center and The Music Box Theatre.
Mr. LaBuy is currently the Academic Chair of the Mass Communication department at Rock Valley College and also the Director and Programmer for the Mosaic World Film Festival. He continues to produce commercials, music videos, documentaries, and narrative work on a freelance basis.
